6.6
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')
CVE CVE-2023-2493
CVSS 6.6 (Medium)
Publicly Published June 19, 2023
Last Updated June 23, 2023
Researcher Chien Vuong

Description

The All In One Redirection plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the request URI in versions up to, and including, 2.1.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator capabilities to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
