Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
CVE CVE-2023-23992
CVSS 4.3 (Medium)
Publicly Published January 20, 2023
Last Updated January 22, 2024
Researcher Rafshanzani Suhada

Description

The AutomatorWP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2.5.0. This is due to missing nonce validation on the delete() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete display settings, granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
