CVSS 5.4 (Medium)
Publicly Published November 6, 2023
Last Updated January 22, 2024
Researcher Huynh Tien Si

Description

The Code Snippets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to and including 3.5.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the load function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset plugin settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
