Freshdesk (official) <= 1.7 - Open Redirect

5.4
URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')
CVE CVE-2015-10102
CVSS 5.4 (Medium)
Publicly Published April 17, 2023
Last Updated April 19, 2023

Description

The Freshdesk (official) Plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in versions up to, and including, 1.7. This is due to the application failing to properly verify user-supplied input from the `$redirect_url` value. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to exploit this issue and redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks; other attacks are also possible.
