GamiPress <= 7.3.7 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Local File Inclusion

8.8
Improper Control of Filename for Include/Require Statement in PHP Program ('PHP Remote File Inclusion')
CVE CVE-2025-47508
CVSS 8.8 (High)
Publicly Published May 7, 2025
Last Updated May 13, 2025
Researcher Muhammad Yudha - DJ

Description

The GamiPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion via the gamipress_logs_shortcode() function in versions up to, and including, 7.3.7. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included.
