CVE CVE-2023-28666
CVSS 6.1 (Medium)
Publicly Published March 20, 2023
Last Updated August 8, 2023
Researcher Joshua Martinelle - Tenable

Description

The InPost Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘imgurl’ parameter of the add_inpost_gallery_slide_item action in versions up to, and including, 2.1.4.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
