7.2
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')
CVE CVE-2022-47426
CVSS 7.2 (High)
Publicly Published April 13, 2023
Last Updated April 17, 2023

Description

The Neshan Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'id' parameter in versions up to, and including, 1.1.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers , with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
