Publicly Published June 23, 2023
Last Updated June 23, 2023

Description

The Restrict Content plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized notice dismissal due to a missing capability check on the rcp_ajax_dismissed_notice_handler() function in versions up to, and including, 3.2.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to dismiss plugin notices.
