CVSS 4.3 (Medium)
Publicly Published January 16, 2023
Last Updated January 20, 2023
Researcher Krzysztof Zając - CERT PL

The Stream plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to a missing capability check on the 'save_new_alert' and 'get_new_alert_triggers_notifications' functions in versions up to, and including, 3.9.1. This makes it possible for subscriber-level attackers to use the plugin's alert functionality and potentially leak sensitive information.
