Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
CVE CVE-2023-44473
CVSS 4.3 (Medium)
Publicly Published September 29, 2023
Last Updated October 3, 2023
Researcher Muhammad Daffa

Description

The Table of Contents Plus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2302. This is due to incorrect nonce validation on the save_admin_options() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
