CVE CVE-2024-2129
CVSS 6.4 (Medium)
Publicly Published March 19, 2024
Last Updated April 24, 2024
Researcher Francesco Carlucci

Description

The WPBITS Addons For Elementor Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's heading widget in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE-2024-32593 is likely a duplicate of this issue.
